So, I've been thinking about this for awhile. A blog dedicated to the daily life of DogParkers. DPG stands for Dog Park Gangstas, by the way. Although I'm not sure of the exact origin of the name, it comes mainly from the fact that there are a few people at the Park who basically run shit. This may sound ridiculous considering it's a public park that anyone can go to, but it's true.

At about 6:30 every night the DPG assembles for its nightly meeting and festivities. Pretty much, it's a phenomenal way to unwind from a hard day's work, or in the case of Musashi, a hard day of facebooking, words with friends, Beluga-ing, twatting, tweeting, event planning, and whatever else she does.

Everyone hangs out, talks shit, and makes fun of all the weirdos that come in to the dog park, or in the case of a lot of the weirdos, stand outside the dog park and watch what happens inside while the dogs bark at them for being weird.

A word about the names... In order to retain some semblance of dignity and anonymity throughout this blog's evolution, all posts will be authored in the name of the owner's dog. My dog, for example is named Achilles, so that's what I will be posting under. There are going to be a few authors on here, each with different perspectives on the park and its goings on which should provide a good amount of variety and humor. Achilles is the black and white Border Collie, Basenji Mix on the right in the photo below.

Oh, and the video attached is of the newest member of the DPG, Oji. He's a "miniature" Shiba Inu. Personally, I hope the little guy grows to be 50 lbs, but I don't think his owner would be too happy about that. I hope soon we have a video of Oji going insane. For a puppy, he's pretty much a baller and attacks all the bigger dogs and doesn't take any shit from anyone.  This is his owner trying to get him to go on my skateboard. He's not such a fan!
